News Update
- A+D & Spectrum Foundation Architecture
Awards 2006 has selected Christopher Benninger for the Golden Architect
Award of India for life time contribution to the field of architecture
in the sub continent.
- In October 2006 Christopher Benninger
won the Recognition for Excellence in Design Award from the British
Society of Design
- CCBA was selected as the architects for the Indian Institute of Management,
Calcutta out of a field of seventeen leading architects
- CCBA was selected to prepare the Campus Master Plan of the College
of Engineering, Pune, founded in 1862.
-CCBA has won the Archi Design Award 2007 for the best institutional
design in India for the CNDCM. It won the same award in 2006 for the
YMCA International Retreat at Nilshi, That project also won the Best
Public Building award form the Indian Institute of Architects 2006.
-The design of Supreme Court, for the Royal Government of Bhutan, was
awarded to the studio and the tender has been floated.
-The studio is presently working on the design of Suzlon World Headquarter
and the Suzlon Corporate Learning Centre which are under construction.
-Christopher Benninger will be awarded the Great Master Award in April
2008. Over the past seventeen years only six other architects have won
this recognition.
-CCBA has been selected to design the Bajaj Science Center at Wardha
and the New Dharma Shala at Naglok, Nagpur

membership is drawn from past and present members of CCBA, its predecessors
and affiliates. Members are invited to share their views, ideas, concepts
and links. This forum stands for intellectual honesty, a sustainable world,
