The Centurion Hotel at Pune is an up
market BOUTIQUE HOTEL in the heart of the city. Situated on a prime
parcel of real estate, this 3000 sq.m. project contains fifty rooms,
of which six are suites; a banquet hall; two conference rooms; a bar
and restaurant; a garden restaurant and a backbone of high technology
utilities and services. The north elevation is concealed from the sun
and thus is composed of sheer glass and aluminum walls, while the south
facing facade is protected aluminum fins which deter all direct sun
light from entering. This eco-friendly composition results in a pristine
composition of lines and planes. The elevator shafts are dramatized
through the device of a vertical glass container facing the main road.
