Amby Valley Residential School for sahara India wraps around a community open space, which is ideal for sports. The residential areas are clustered on the more undulating northern slopes and the academic areas are clustered on the gentle slopes. A residential cum day school including a library, science center, fourteen class rooms, staff housing, student housing, catering center, headmaster's and director's bungalows, pathways and gardens, and trunk infrastructure. All the different functional areas are designed to create a unique environment yet unified by pathways connecting them. Glass walls are used on the north faces to capture the beauty of the surrounding mountain range in the western ghats.
